Additional Support

We are pleased to be able to offer four FREE online 6 week parent/carer courses starting in April/May 2020 with funding from Hertfordshire County Council.

 Add-Vance Support

Priority places are available to parents/carers in the nominated districts, including a number of places available to families with a Child in Need Plan/Families First Assessment or Care Plan in those districts. Courses are only open to parents/carers in the nominated districts today (22nd April) until 12 pm tomorrow. From tomorrow at 12 pm, parents/carers in all Hertfordshire districts are welcome to apply.

 Understanding ADHD and Autism - daytime course for parents/carers in Stevenage District - commencing on Tuesday 28th April 2020

 

Understanding ADHD and Autism - evening course for parents/carers in St Albans City and District - commencing on Monday 4th May 2020


Understanding ADHD and Autism - daytime course for parents/carers in East Herts District - commencing on Tuesday 5th May 2020
  

 

Understanding Teens with ADHD and Autism - daytime course for parents/carers in Welwyn Hatfield District - commencing on Tuesday 28th April 2020

Health Young Minds

HMN have launched a new early intervention and prevention helpline for children and young people aged 10-17 in Herts.

The helpline will provide a safe , non-judgemental space to talk to a Young People Advisor or Mentor who will provide emotional support, advice and information, signposting and discuss coping strategies. Opening times at the moment are:

 Mon, Wed, Fri – 13:00 – 16:30

Tues, Thurs – 17::00 – 19:30

Sat – 10:00 – 13:00

 We are also able to offer support to parents either through this line, or our 18+ 24/7 line – reached through the same number.
