Our after school club provides high quality provision every school day. We can accept children from Giles Junior School and Giles Infant siblings. Children from Year 3-6 take themselves to the provision after they have been dismissed for the day and infant siblings that are booked in are collected from the Infant School by a member of staff from Giles Junior School.

BOOKING FOR THE CLUB
If your child/children wish to attend Smiles@Giles After School club, you must book in and make payment using the School Gateway. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and we are able to take maximum of 30 children each day. The booking deadline is 2pm on the same day. In the case of an emergency please contact the school office. If you are booking in a session for a sibling who attends Giles Infant School, please fill in a registration form prior to booking your child in for the first time (these are available from Miss Watts or the school office).
A late collection fee of £10 for every 20 minute block of lateness will be charged.
The children enjoy a light, healthy tea and then take part in a wide range of exciting games and activities, as well as having study support for any home learning.
In order to ensure that we have enough adult supervision and food prepared for the children, it is essential that the club is booked and paid for in advance. Payment and booking is made via The School Gateway which can be logged onto via a website, or an app on your phone.
To get this booked in using the School Gateway, you will need to make a double booking in the junior child name (so you will have a session booked twice in the name of the junior child). You will then need to collect a registration pack from the school office or Mrs Watts, our After School Club Manager, and have this completed and returned to the school before your infant child’s session starts. The registration pack will give the club all the necessary information for the infant child who will be attending.
All bookings need to be booked in and paid for by 2pm on the day of the session. We can hold a maximum of 30 children in one session, therefore all bookings are on a first come, first served basis.
