After School Club

Our after school club provides high quality provision every school day. We can accept children from Giles Junior School but no longer can offer this to Giles Infant School siblings.
Children from Year 3-6 take themselves to the provision after they have been dismissed for the day and infant siblings that are booked in are collected from the Infant School by a member of staff from Giles Junior School.
Updated opening times & Prices:
SESSION A 3:15 – 4:45pm= £7.00
(single session for junior child only)
SESSION B 3:15 – 4:45pm= £6.00
(2nd junior child discount with junior sibling booking session A)
SESSION C 3:15 – 6:00pm= £10.00
(single session for junior child only)
SESSION D 3:15 – 6:00pm= £9.00
(2nd junior child discount with junior sibling booking session C)
SESSION E 4:00 – 6:00pm= £7.00
(junior child after a club with collection at any time up to 6pm)
BOOKING FOR THE CLUB
If your child/children wish to attend Smiles@Giles After School club, you must book in and make payment using the School Gateway. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and we are able to take maximum of 30 children each day. The booking deadline is 2pm the day before the booking request. In the case of an emergency please contact the school office.
A late collection fee of £10 for every 20 minute block of lateness will be charged.
The children enjoy a light, healthy tea and then take part in a wide range of exciting games and activities, as well as having study support for any home learning.
In order to ensure that we have enough adult supervision and food prepared for the children, it is essential that the club is booked and paid for in advance. Payment and booking is made via The School Gateway which can be logged onto via a website, or an app on your phone.
All bookings need to be booked in and paid for by 4pm the day before the booking request. We can hold a maximum of 30 children in one session, therefore all bookings are on a first come, first served basis.
Making changes to bookings:
In the interest of making sure that childcare is available for all and to allow Ms Watts to plan and shop appropriately we will be unable to refund any cancellations which are made after 2pm on the same day.
Please be aware any pupils who are booked in on the day and who do not attend will be charged for the session they have missed.
